Logorama: The Great Trademark Heist

Logorama is an award winning 16 minute film made by a French collective called H5. The city is supposed to be LA, but most cities are peopled by brands these days. This is a very clever and witty film.

Not least of its humour is that H5 used more than 3,000 trademarked logos without permission. Hence the title of this post, which I’ve taken from Rose Lawrence’s short article.

I’ve posted this video within the course but it’s so good I wanted to make it available to a broader audience here. It provides some context for reflecting on the recently concluded contest between Brand Obama and Brand Romney—about which more later.
